About the program
As one of my roles at FSI, I help manage the Taiwan Democracy and Security Project. Initiated in 2005, the project focuses on political and social change and the regional and international challenges confronting democracy in Taiwan, including cross-Strait relations. Project activities include an annual symposium on Taiwan democracy and security, a seminar and lecture series, and student summer internship programs.
In fall 2017, the project was renamed and moved to the Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center from the Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law.
